first and foremost:
words cant describe how much i appreciate the tags and concern i got the past few days.thanks u all.esp the late morning calls from YT,doesnt matter if it was ur mom who forced u to call, nice to know someone's concerned.EVEN THOUGH most of the time those calls were made during my sleeping time.thanks anyhow.
with all the sufferings happening around us the past few years, its no surprise that my dear friend is convinced that god's revelation might just be true.the end of the world, according to the bible, was supposed to be in yr 2000.he might not have destroyed us completely but destruction has been carried out slowly.first, the september 11th attack.then the tsunami creating a catastrophe.though both unfortunate events happened IN just one country or region.it happened TO the world.after the terrorist attacks, animosity and contempt was rampant in the US and its conflicting countries.allies were dragged into the whole operation against weapon of mass destruction.the aftermath of the tsunami disaster involved the world, utter grief and unconditional aid were showered upon victims from prople all over the world.
these events might not have affected u and me directly.BUT if u browse through the papers daily, just check out the local or regional news.something tragic happens everyday.and i dont mean ur everyday teenage problems.im a true believer of "u never know how it feels until it befalls u".only when its personal do u really know what to feel.
on the level of personal disputes,i bet everyone has their own reason to hate or be displeased at an aquaintance.when that displeasure is kept to oneself,a drift is created between the friendship.and those frustrations will accumulate and soon enough, the bond between those two will bend.conflicts may arise due to miscommunication.when there's miscommunication, both parties would naturally assume they themselves are right and the other the one at fault, for that is sheer human nature.outsiders start adding salt to the wound, further enlarging the gap between those two.and if those two did stop to try picture themselves in the other party's shoes, they would realise that noone's really the one to be blamed.for it is the preconcieved notion that ur own displeasure should be addressed that results in the negligence of the other person's feelings.it is simply termed selfishness in modern day and self-love in Rosseau's time.i would agree with Rosseau that it is indeed in nature that humans would love oneself more than others.
okay, mebbe that speech wasnt all too clear.i just type out whatever's on my mind.trying to be smarty pants here explaining it but end up confusing everybody.
philosophy and all that crap aside...right now,i can gladly assure those who are concerned about my emotional well-being,that im contented with what i have and am enjoying life.so dont worry.and nina,i am dancing to the melodic rhythm of life and wish for all to dance with me.(:
