aviator was a long three hour presentation of howard hughes' life story.
about his many movie star companions.
his million dollar projects on airplanes.
his hearing impediment.
his OCD.


there werent subtitles.
no subtitles in melbourne cos they assume everyone understands english rite?
so,when me and my cousin came out of the theatre,
i heard this girl wearing one of those cropped jackets/tops that i wanna get.
she has a strong chinese accent complaining to her boyfriend,
"zhe shi pian tai de"(translation: this is absurb).
"kan kuai jiao dong zhi men bu yao lai kan zhe bu pian zi"(in simple english: lets get all our comrads to boycott this movie).


martin scorsese should've thought about our chinese comrads before directing such an intriguing movie of a three hour length.
hmm,or mebbe melbourne theatres should start putting up subtitles before they start losing wealthy chinese as valued movie go-ers.
