fine and dandy no more

this academic semester has been packed with sleepless nights,cranky mornings,tedious readings,lousy i-dont-know-what-im-computing QM tutes,vance's lameass jokes and a lot a lot of doubts about my capabilities (or lack thereof). it has gone by so quick that i cant be sure if the amount of effort i put in will suffice to get me through the exams.

here's a list of heart stopping events that happened (not in chronological order) over a span of 3 months:

i missed an online test because of a short afternoon nap;
i found out that i had to do a 20% group assignment all by myself,less than 3 days before submission date;
i had to rush an essay, which i cramped and swallowed endless reading materials to vomit out 2000 words in 2 days;
i volunteered to present a group assignment and appeared a nervous wreck in front of the class;
i risked "guessing" a forecast assignment,although its a mere 5% it was still a massive failure for a scaredy cat/kiasu toot like me.like siew said,5% determines one up to a grade or worse still,one downgrade.and that, relatively, is a lot.

i survived all of that
but now that its nearing the end,i dont really know if i've learnt much.at least i think not.definitely not with all the cramping thats involved in this last few weeks of studying before the semester comes to a close officially.

for the longest time,i've been wanting to give up.
yesterday night,the exasperation reached a climatic peak.
looking at the past year questions,i asked myself,'so, did i learn anything at all?'
i didnt know how to answer like more than 50% of them.
i think im kinda screwed this semester.

i can only wish for a miracle to happen.

...AND!!CAN THE PEOPLE UPSTAIRS STOP THE STOMPING?
for non-residents of 115,there are these irritants living in the apt above ours and every now and then,they'll stomp up and down in their apt,practice their shuffling.whatever it is that they do,they just make a hell lot of noise that annoys the hell out of us and those staying beside us.noone dares stop them,even the concierge is scared of them...ugh.i hope alan (the resident manager) evicts them.
